Tri-County Drift Hoppers 2008 Drag Races

Order of events:

Registration time:                                7:30am – 10:00am

MANATORY Drivers Meeting:            10:30am

Eliminations Start at:                          11:00am

         

It is your responsibility to be on time and get through pre-tech and registration on time. No late entries, even if you call, sorry, no Exceptions!!

 

Equipment and Safety Gear Requirements:

 

-         All Studded classes must have safety vest, recommended for all classes. (This includes Studded Stock classes to Modified).

Started in 2007…..

-         Must have working tether switch for all classes !!! (Jr’s to Mod’s). Must be used at any time sled is running. (will be check at pre-tech).

-         Recommended Clutch enclosure per ISR for Improved and Modified Classes. Also reinforced rear flap (unless a legal stock class sled “bumping” up a class).

-         No Straps/Chains/Internal Stops for limiting suspension allowed in Unstudded classes other than factory adjustments. Travel will be checked on all other classes for 2” min. travel per ISR rule book (with Driver).

-         All Stock classes will use IRS motor tech. (no Reeds,Cans,Pipes or other engine modification allowed in Stock classes).

-         4-Stroke sleds be placed in the following STOCK classes only: 500 Stock(Vector, Nytro, T-660), 600 Stock(RX-1 & Warrior), 700 Stock(Apex, Attak)…If you have questions please call. Any added forced induction 4-strokes will have to run in OPEN Modified.

-         New for 2008 4-Stroke Stock only classes: Class 4A (~120Hp Class sleds) and Class 4B (4-stroke Stock Open). May also enter in the ISR Stock classes as stated above. Working on extra Payout for 4-Stroke Stock Open !!!!

-         Must use Cards/Numbers handed out a registration, clear duct tape works great to attach to cowl so that line up officials see them clearly.

-         Open Improved and Open Modified MUST inspect track conditions before entering class, there will be NO refunds.

Notes:

-         Classes may be eliminated according To sled count, per race director

-         No driver under the influence of alcohol/drugs permitted!

-         Line-up is according to sign-up order…..no lane choice

-         Modified Heats will be run between other classes to help with cool down if possible.

-         All sleds in final must  go directly to Tech to receive payout (No exceptions)

NO Riding in pits other than to move sleds into staging. Any exceptions to this will be escorted out !!!
