NEW!!! 2010 Grass DRAGS!! - Lee @ 18:27 EDT
The Drifthoppers are proud to announce the WYCO Smoking Pumpkin Grass Drags!!! With a lot of work and dedication the club is ready to have a great kick-off part for the season with our new grass drags! They will be held at a new location on the north side of Arcade on RT 98N (7292 Rt.98N). At this new location we have the ability to run on grass or snow. The guys have cleared almost 7 acres for our new (4) lane 500ft track. The area was sprayed, Plowed, Leveled, Rock picked, Limed, Fertilized, and PLATED!! Also a new much larger pit area (that can accommodate primitive camping) will be a welcome site for the racers and crews. The new location will improve the winter drags as well, giving us the ability to run in low or no snow condition this coming season. Below I’ve included some the class highlights and a proposed running order. We will be updating the web site shortly as things come together. As always ALL classes will have 100% payback! There will also be some classes with added purse money to be announced. TRI-COUNTY DRIFTHOPPERS AMATEUR STOCK RULES (4-Stroke,500,600,700,800) AMATEUR IMP. STOCK OPEN (one class only!) Trails closed as of 3/8/10.......Done for the year?? - Lee @ 10:15 EDT
All trails are CLOSED for the season! Due to the nice warm sunshine and rising temperatures this week the trails are closed. Hard to believe that we needed snowshoes to tap the maples yesterday with 24-30” still in the woods, but the sun has melted large sections of trails out in the open. Hope some of you got out over the last week to get in your last “fix”, there was some good riding in places. If we get a big dump of March snow, check back to see if there will be any late season riding, but for now we are done for the year!

Trail Still open, but fat lady is warming up! - Lee @ 07:21 EDT
The trails are still open with some good riding in the "hills" and woods, but around town things are getting real thin. The sun has done a number on the trails leading into and out of town. See our trail reports section for more current updates. Our March club meeting is coming up on the 17th. Come join us to hear how the season went. Bring any ideas that you might have looking towards next season!
